The Driving Standards Agency LGV driving test is designed to examine a candidates driving ability over a circuit of varying road and traffic conditions. The test starts with a simple reverse exercise conducted inside the test centre and off the public highway.
The candidate will then join the public highway and complete a circuit lasting approximately 50 minutes. This will incorporate exercises not dissimilar to the car test, an uphill start for example.
A high standard is of course required and expected of all candidates for this professional driving test.
